OTTER CAMPERS are on their way to camp
To
date FCC has lots of CCR, Chi Rho, and CYF youth signed up to attend
camps at Camp Christian this summer. But there are many kids who are
not siged up yet. Call Pastor Mary Jo or Pastor Mitch if you have
questions about camp. Camp Maumee (July 12-18) grades 6-8. Cost to you is $157 deadline is July 3. After deadline cost is $182.50. Lakeside (July 19-25) grades 9-12. Cost to you is $157.50 deadline is July 10. After deadline cost is $182.50. Everyone
loves to get mail at camp. Please mail early. (Full name of camper)

Items needed: Towels, bedding, swim suits, pillow, jeans,
sweatshirt, flashlight, bug spray, toothbrush, toothpaste, cloes toe
shoes (2 pair if possible), and a Bible. NO CELL PHONES.
Important additional note: Please be at the church by
10:00 a.m. Sunday, June 14, 2009 to load the van. There will be a
commissioning prayer during the 10:45 worship service for all campers
and adult counselors. After church, lunch will be provided for all
campers and drivers in the Fellowship Hall. The van will leave for Camp
Christian by 12:30 p.m. Campers and counselors are: Lucas
Blanchong, Caleb Blanchong, Lauryn Spiess, Coty Spiess-Ebersole, Cody
Fry, Gavin Knauer, Mia Wenger, Aaron Brown, Jaylen Hunter, Thomas Cupp,
William Cupp, Griffin Smith, Westin Smith, Kim Cupp, Mitch Maxted, Bill
Blanchong, and Jacob Bray (CIT).
It's not too late to sign up for Church Camp! NEW CWF COOKBOOK
Circle
IV of the CWF is spearheading an effort to update and repubish the CWF
cookbook. They need help in finding new recipes as well as compiling
the book. If you have a "favorite" recipe to submit, please bring it to
the church and drop it in the RECIPE folder on the CWF bulletin board
or email them to Yvonne Baumgartner at baumye@gmail.com or Susan Barnes
at susanbarnes@embarqmail.com. If there is a recipe you would like to
see in the book, please write the request on the bulletin board. If you
are interested in reading, sorting, organizing recipes, typing,
editing, or compiling the book itself, please cotact Susan Barnes

They are planning to have the completed book for sale at the Chicken
Pie Supper wich will be held on November 4. |
