Pastor Michael doerr
Pastor Doerr came to Wauseon in July, 2017, excited for the opportunity to share faith and life with the people of First Christian Church and the wider community. In addition to a passion for the church's mission and vision (To Know Christ and Make Him Known, Building Fully Devoted Followers of Jesus), Michael loves his family: spouse Rev Heather Schimmel (Pastor of Lyons Christion Church), daughters Patricia (son-in-law Cleveland) and Bekkah, and grandsons CJ & Ethan. He also loves sports (Reds, Bengals, Buckeyes & Capitals) and American history. Michael is a graduate of Lexington Theological Seminary (Kentucky), The George Washington University (D.C.) and Sycamore High School (Cincinnati).
